Here's Rick and Marc Vandegrift (Mel). My sister Mary started a chain reaction of jobs at the Holiday Inn. She got hired, then got me a job, I got Rick a Job, we got Todd a job then we got Hock a job. Mel was pre-existing when we started. He was a cook. Rick and I started as dishwashers but Rick soon became cook and I went into maintenance. Todd left and Hock became Bar Tender. Marc was a lot of fun. We also met Peder Legried, Vince, Betty Rupp and Roy Abrego there. Mark Jensen and Kathy Omps later worked there as well.
