This is a photo taken during our 20th year Class Re-union. The Lady is Celeste Abrego, at least that was her maiden name. While we were there, one of our class mates Erin, from Clark's Grove, told us to look around because we were at the age when some of these people wouldn't be here for the next one. I don't know what Rick thought but I did look around. Didn't even consider the man standing next to me.

Debbie Bergland was there although she's now Debbie Blowers. She's very attractive. Rick used to flirt with her in High School. When Prom was approaching, many people asked Debbie to go but she turned eveyone down holding out for Rick. Not that he led her on. I didn't think he did anyway. He was aware that she was holding out for him though. He ended up going with Connie Alstad who he kept contact with over the years and saw plutonically even in the last year. Rick sure maintained a lot of friendships. Anyway, at the end of the re-union, Rick asked Debbie to dance the last dance. Rick was such a Prince.

Thanks to Mary Seltun for providing this photograph. She said that Rick had written her after the re-union to joke and also to volunteer for the next one. Mary has been the organizer for many years now.

We had a good time and ended up crashing at the old Kahler Motel that night. Don't know what it's called today but It's not the Kahler.
